SMichael Corcoran is Corcoran Partners’ chief political legislative and government affairs strategist. Referred to as a “top lobbyist in Tallahassee” by the Tampa Bay Times, Michael is widely considered one of Florida’s leading political experts and provides unparalleled access to senior leadership and key decision makers within the legislative and executive branches of government. With nearly three decades of experience under his belt, Michael has built longstanding relationships and has the knowledge of Florida’s political landscape that gives him the ability to deliver results for clients. Michael has also earned himself the reputation of one of Florida’s most prodigious fundraisers, and has worked to help elect candidates at all levels of government: local, state and federal.
Previously, Michael worked for the Republican Party of Florida under the leadership of then-future House Speaker Daniel Webster. He also served as the Southeastern Regional Political Director for the National Federation of Independent Business, and as a legislative and government affairs consultant for his friends at Metz, Hauser and Husband, P.A. Michael also has extensive experience advocating for business interests, which has made him one of Florida’s foremost authorities in the areas of message development, polling, media production and placement, as well as strategy.
Raised in Tampa, Michael still resides there with his wife, Jessica, and their four children, Sean, Josie Brooke, Ty & Bobby.
